Privacy policy

Chetaa CRM (the website chetacrm.com, the web app app.chetacrm.com and the Chetaa CRM Android app) is run by Agwheel Crop Sciences Pvt Ltd, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India ("we"). This policy explains what we collect and why. It is written under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the IT Act, 2000.

Two kinds of data

Your account: the business name, your name, mobile number, email, GSTIN, the logins of your team and your payments. We use it to run your account, bill you, send GST invoices and give support.

Your business data: the leads, contacts, notes, WhatsApp messages, call details, call recordings, transcripts and AI reports that you and your team put in or connect. For this data your business is the data fiduciary (it decides what is collected about its leads); we process it only on your instructions, to provide the service. We do not sell it, show ads on it, or use it to train AI models.

The Android app

The app shows the CRM and lets an agent call a lead from the phone. With the agent's permission ("Music and audio") it reads the phone's call recordings and uploads only the recordings of calls the agent made from the CRM, matched by the lead's number and the call time. Other recordings, contacts, the call log, SMS and location are not read. The upload goes over an encrypted connection to the agent's own company account. Agents can turn the permission off at any time in Android settings.

Service providers

To run the service we use: the server and backup hosting we rent; Google (Gemini) for speech-to-text, call analysis and AI drafts when AI features are on; Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) for WhatsApp messages; Exotel for cloud calls, if your business turns it on; Razorpay for online payments (we never see your card or UPI PIN); and Chetaa ERP (our own product) when you connect it for invoices. Each gets only what its part of the work needs.

Security

Each company has its own separate database. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), provider keys are stored encrypted, passwords are hashed, and backups are encrypted before they leave the server.

How long we keep data

While your account is active, and for 90 days after it ends so you can come back or ask for an export; then it is deleted, and removed from backups as they roll over. Your business can delete leads and set recordings to be deleted after a number of days. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

You may ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account. A lead who wants their data removed should ask the business they dealt with; we help that business do it.
